Meet Katie
A Christian mom of four and an elementary educator, Katie brings years of classroom experience and a love of music, science, and creative learning. She started Homeschool Extras to give children shared experiences and help parents on their homeschool journey.
Meet Ryan
Ryan brings more than 20 years of software development and testing experience to hands-on coding and technology classes. He enjoys building STEM projects, coaching PE, and learning alongside his family.

Where are classes held?
At Abiding Love Church, 3205 Chiquita Blvd S, Cape Coral, FL 33914.
Can we join if we live outside Cape Coral?
Yes! Homeschool families from Fort Myers, North Fort Myers, Punta Gorda, Port Charlotte, and other Southwest Florida communities are welcome. You do not need to live in Cape Coral to attend.
All in-person classes meet at Abiding Love Church, 3205 Chiquita Blvd S, Cape Coral, FL 33914. Use this address to check the route from your home when planning your day. Driving times vary with traffic and your starting point.
Who are the full-day programs for?
Homeschool students in Kindergarten through 8th grade. Most class periods offer two options to choose from, with grade ranges shown in the schedule.
Can my child attend more than one day?
Yes! Register for Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, or a combination. Each day offers different classes.
How do we choose classes?
Register for your full-day program, and we’ll contact you to confirm your child’s class selections. Check the schedule above for options and grade ranges.
What should my child bring for lunch?
Lunch is not included, so full-day students need to pack a lunch. We also allow snack time in the morning and afternoon during our outside breaks.
Are classes drop-off?
Classes are drop-off, but feel free to stay with your child as long as you need to until they are comfortable.
Are your classes religious?
We are Christian and teach from a Biblical worldview. Free devotion or chapel is offered before the full-day program. We rent space at our church, but the church is not associated with our classes.
What about PE?
Our Wednesday PE get-together at a local park is free. Parents stay with their children and may watch or join in. Contact us for details.
