Overview

Get ready for a thrilling adventure into the world of science! Our Science Lab class is packed with exciting experiments that will help students explore the “magic” of science. I’ll explain the how and why behind each experiment, making science both fun and educational. Kids can even wear lab coats and goggles if they want. By the end of the session, your kids will start to love science if they don’t already!

Details

  • Duration: 1 hour per week until the session ends, usually 6-8 weeks
  • Group Size: 8-12 per class

Science Lab Activities

  • Experiments involving the sun, such as cooking an egg on the sidewalk or melting crayons in solar ovens.
  • Fun with imploding cans, exploding rockets, sidewalk chalk, and colorful bubble bombs.
  • Activities with shadows, reflections, mirrors, infinity mirrors, and kaleidoscopes.
  • Experiments with magnets and iron filings, creating an electromagnetic train, and making magnetic slime.
  • Discovering the strength of eggshells, sucking an egg into a bottle, making an eggshell disappear, and exploring osmosis.
  • Exploring the water cycle, surface tension, buoyancy, and performing cool water tricks.
  • Experimenting with bubbles, balloons, paper airplanes, and pinwheels to discover the properties of air.

  • For All Ages: This class is designed to be engaging and educational for children of various age levels.
  • Course Material: All necessary materials for experiments are included in the price. Children are encouraged to bring their curiosity and enthusiasm!
